Friends of Northgate (FNG) is a program designed to connect individuals who wish to support Northgate. The program consists of three main groups: Fiscal Friends, Maintenance Friends, and Event and Activity Friends.
Fiscal Friends
Fiscal Friends contribute financially or through gifts-in-kind to help cover Northgate’s ongoing expenses and ensure the facility remains in excellent condition. CO-OP shoppers are encouraged to use the equity number 24846-8 when making purchases to further support Northgate.
Maintenance Friends
Maintenance Friends are volunteers who assist with trail upkeep throughout the year. Their tasks include trimming weeds and branches during the spring and summer, grooming trails in winter, clearing debris after storms, cutting firewood, and performing general trail repairs as needed.
Event and Activity Friends
Event and Activity Friends help organize and run special events at Northgate. These may include bike races, cultural and environmental gatherings, or group visits for guests unfamiliar with Northgate.
