Where you can hike in Northgate Trails depends on the season.

Winter (snow season)

The only trail open for hiking without snowshoes is the COOP Family Trail. All other trails may be accessed with snowshoes. Please stay off groomed trails when hiking.

Spring, Summer, and Fall

The entire trail system is open for hiking. Trails range from short family-friendly loops to longer routes through creeks and ridgelines.

The network winds through forests, creeks and ridgelines, making it the perfect spot for a short family hike or a longer backcountry-style adventure.

Hiking is welcome year-round, with specific guidelines for winter use.

  • Follow marked routes.
  • All trails have numbered trail markers.
