Micro Cabins
Five all season micro cabins are nestled at the trailhead of the NORTHGATE multi-use 25 km trail system, bordering on Riding Mountain National Park (RMNP). Each cabin is 108 sq ft with a bunk bed (double + single mattress) wifi, table and two chairs, night stand, clothes hooks, and a private driveway. The cabin sleeps 3 adults, or a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children). The private deck (68 sq ft) features two bike stands, and two deck chairs. A shared washroom and private shower is on site.
Cozy, private, natural forest setting, perfect for the outdoor enthusiast who enjoys all season adventures. Mountain and fat biking, running, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing are right outside your doorstep. Scenic Highway #10 for summer road biking is 200 meters from your cabin.
The cabin operators will ensure a clean environment and can assist you to get the most out of your visit. They are very knowledgable about the trails at NORTHGATE and Riding Mountain National Park, as well as the business community and events in Dauphin!
Two shared washrooms, and one shower designated for cabin guests only, is on site.
The City of Dauphin is 12 km north of the NORTHGATE Trails and has everything you need for a comfortable stay (groceries, fuel, restaurants, movie theatres, laundry facilities, businesses, museums, public library, skate park, indoor swimming pool, summer splash park, indoor ice/curling rinks, playgrounds, regional hospital, medical clinic, veterinary clinic, animal kennels, pharmacy/liquor mart, and cannabis stores. Wasagaming/Clear Lake is a 35 minute drive south on Highway #10.
FAQ's
There is a taxi service available in Dauphin.
No indoor cooking. No shoes or boots in the cabin. Quiet hours are 11:00 pm to 07:00 am.
There are two stairs on the deck to reach the cabin door.
Guests should bring drinking water, bedding (pillows, sleeping bags, blankets), towels, and hygiene articles (shampoo, shaving cream, hair dryer, etc.)
You are in bear country. Stay alert, keep your distance, store food properly and do NOT feed wildlife.
